Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is a journalist for the broadcast industry in the US. Most well-known for her anchoring of the CNN morning show At This Hour, Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. Bolduan was previously a co-anchor of the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of CNNs winning reporting on the presidential election of 2012 and 2016. She has also served as an official correspondent for the congressional office at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan covered congressional and legislative occasions, including discussions on the raising of the debt ceiling and the super committee's discussions. She also was a general assignment correspondent and covered such topics as the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision concerning Obamacare in 2010and and the implementation plan of the Government stimulus program in 2009 and other articles. As the CNN New Source national correspondent, she began her professional career at CNN in the year 2007. She was a source of features as well as breaking news stories and more to nearly 800 CNN New Source affiliates as a national reporter.
