Midthunder hails from the Fort Peck Assiniboine Tribe. She was originally of the Navajo Nation of Shiprock in New Mexico. After spending most her childhood in Santa Fe (where she went to the Academy for Technology and the Classics and where her mom worked at a casting company), she returned to her home. Amber was born Native American on her father's side. Both are enrolled members of the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. Amber's mother had been taken in by her mother. Amber has unknown her mixed family ethnic heritage. Prey stars a majority of Native American actors, such as Dakota Beavers (who is Blackfeet as well as Comanche) and Jhane Meiers who has been advising Prey for years. Coco The adorable animal actress who plays Sarii is chosen because of the breed she is a rare one known as known as the American Dingo. Carolina Dog is a breed which has been in existence for generations.
TJ informs us in the film how much Amanda is to him. TJ expressed his affection to her but she rejected him down because she was dating Daniel. Jack eventually married Amanda.
